FAQ’s

Do you cook everything and deliver it, or do we pick everything up? All cooking will be done at 1400 Food Lab, and delivered to your home, fresh, same day.

When do you deliver? Prep and delivery will happen same day. Your day (Monday or Tuesday), will be determined during your consultation, as well as number of meals and portion sizes. We will also work with your schedule to ensure meals arrive at the optimal time for safe keeping.

How much should we expect to pay? Is there a minimum? Every client will be given a flat rate based on how much they require for an average week. Rates start at $200/wk, with a minimum of three different meals (or 6 adult portions). This includes all time spent planning your personal menu, grocery shopping time and cost, kitchen rental space, prep time and delivery. Price will vary based on your specific needs.

Who buys groceries? Does it affect the cost? Groceries are all taken care of! No need to worry about what to buy and when. Produce will be organic and locally sourced when possible, and any specific brands your family needs will be taken care of. Price may vary based on protein selections or quantity needs.

I have a very limited diet, or a family member has allergies, can you still cook for us? Absolutely! Allergies, intolerances, or simple aversions will all be discussed and acknowledged. The menu you receive is specifically catered to you and your family’s needs, so we will always avoid ingredients you do not enjoy.

Do I have to Sign a Contract? No contract needed! We’ll send you a menu every week, and we can adjust the price from week to week if you need to order more/fewer meals. Going out of town? Just let us know! We don’t charge spot holding or week skipping fees either!
